Lagazel - Benin
Benin: the company Lagazel (Saint-Galmier – Loire) inaugurates a workshop for manufacturing solar lamps and kits in Porto Novo (Benin). Targeted markets: lighting, recharging of telephones and supply of small electrical equipment. Jobs: around ten technicians. The products will comply with the Verasol quality standards of the World Bank. Services offered: industrial subcontracting, repair and reconditioning (particularly targeting lithium batteries and end-of-life solar panels). The establishment of this Beninese unit, after that in Burkina Faso, is part of the Lagazel company’s objective to set up five manufacturing workshops in Africa, which will have to produce more than one million solar equipment ( 10/13/2021).
