Nigeria - GDP

Nigeria’s GDP stood at USD 432bn in 2020, confirming the country’s position as the largest economy in Africa, ahead of South Africa (USD 370bn). In terms of purchasing power parity, Egypt remains the continent’s largest economy, with a PPP GDP of USD 1,290bn, ahead of Nigeria (USD 1,069bn) and South Africa (USD 717bn) – (National Bureau of Statistics, World Bank) – December 2021
