A Green Manufacturing sector gathers enterprises which activity deals with manufacturing of products and equipment in relation with renewable energies, clean mobility, waste management and sustainable agriculture.

What is a “Leader” company?

A Leader, in the context of the Observatory, is any company operating a facility on African soil that manufactures equipment or products linked to a green manufacturing sector.

 

What is the “Directory of Green Industrialization Leaders in Africa”?

The Directory of Green Industrialization Leaders in Africa is drawn up by the “Observatoire Europe-Afrique 2030”. It lists and describes companies with activities in one or more green manufacturing sectors on African soil.

 

Which enterprise are not eligible to the Directory?

– enterprises which projects are under study or under construction

– service companies, including engineering and design firms

– operators of facilities such as wind farms, hybrid mini-grids and waste sorting plants

– enterprises of the food sector.
