Champions in Clean Stoves manufacturing
A “champion” is a manufacturing company that has invested in a green industry in Africa.
There is a whole range of improved stoves and frying pans, from basic models that offer a 20-35% improvement in efficiency to intermediate models that reach 66%. This equipment helps to reduce the use of firewood. However, very few biomass stoves meet domestic emissions standards.
