The company Zergoun Green Energy starts up a solar panel production plant. Location: Ouargla. Production capacity: 180 MW of solar panels/year. Surface area: 9,200 m2. Production: mono PERC M3 modules of 5 and 6 busbars, power 405-415 Wp. Factory automated to 95 %. Direct jobs: 150. Investment: >11 M€. The unit was manufactured by Mondragon Assembly (Spain). A similar installation is under construction by the Algerian company Milltech (100 MW of solar module production capacity. Location: Boukherana industrial zone, near Chelghoum El Aid (Afrik 21 – 13/06/2022).
