Over the period 2011-2021, several African countries have improved their world rank in terms of prosperity , in particular Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Morocco and Senegal. Conversely, South Africa, Angola, Cameroon, Egypt, Ghana and especially Tunisia have plummeted in the world ranking (Legatum Institute – November 2021).
