VR Holding AB (Sweden) is implementing the construction of a solid waste-to-energy plant Location: Kakamega (Kericho County – Kenya). Capacity: 10MW. Investment: $53 million. Solid waste will be collected in the counties of Kakamega, Busia, Homa Bay, Trans Nzoia, Bungoma and Vihiga (Afrik21 – 05/05/2022).
