Nigeria - Port of Lekki

The port of Lekki (90 km east of the Tin Can terminal) is more than 81% completed. It will have three container berths, a dry bulk terminal and three liquid bulk berths. Completion of the works is scheduled for September 2022 and commercial operation will start in December. The company in charge of the construction of the port, Lekki Port LFTZ Enterprise Limited (LPLEL), is a joint venture between the Lekki Port Investment Holding, owned by China Harbour Engineering Company and the Malaysian group Tolaram, the Nigerian National Port Authority and the local government of Lagos (Ports and Corridors – 28/03/2022)
